Room Service and Tipping!
One of the best food parts of a Disney Cruise is that room service is FREE 24 hours a day!!! That means if you want a snack at midnight it is just a phone call away!! Room service menus tend to hide in the app and I suggest looking at my link below to help find it!
My favorite room service order is the cake of the day and a cup of tea around 10pm to close out the day. I love a All Hands on Deck cheese plate for sail away, and if you’d like to pair it with some bubbly, room service will deliver it for a charge. My kiddos love ordering chicken strips and french fries at all hours!! There are also secret items not listed on the menu. For example, you can order those delicious ice cream Mickey bars you see in the Disney Parks, directly from room service!
For tipping, you are able to sign the slip and tip using your onboard account, or the deliverers really appreciate cash. I usually tip $5 an order, or a bit more if the order is large. During the holidays I put together small zip lock bags with cash and candy that I use to tip for room service!
Breakfast Door Hanger
So many people miss this old-school breakfast ordering system! In the drawer of the desk/prep area in your stateroom will be a door hanger that has a breakfast list on the back.
Hang in outside your door in the evening and the next morning breakfast will be delivered to your stateroom! The form allows you to pick the delivery time, food items, and juices, coffees, teas, and milks! And it is FREE! If you can’t find one, just ask your stateroom host!
